Home Page:

In addition to being able to search directly from the front page of the website, this page also provides recent news and notes of relevance to WormImage. A menu bar appears on each page of the website and provides information about WormImage and allows the user to move easily between pages from anywhere within the site. For more detailed information, please see picture below.

Search Results Page:

When searching by specific criteria (sex, genotype, age, body portion and/or tissue type), a new page will appear that lists the data sets that contain animals with the selected attributes. For example, a search for animals in the dauer age produced the results shown below.

Browse by List:

To browse the entire database by Worm Name, click the "Browse by List" button. A new page with display all the data sets listed by alphabetically by Worm Name. See image below for details.

Refined Browse by List Page:

Clicking the Worm Name on the Browse by List page brings up a new page with a refined list. Images are further categorized by Imageset and/or Tissue Type listings.

Image List:

Viewing the dataset by thumbnail allows the user to scan through large numbers of prints quickly and easily. The number of thumbnails displayed per page can be changed to accommodate different users needs. To see a larger image with detailed information, click on the thumbnail image.

Image Page:

This page displays a larger view of the image and provides detailed information about the section. Rolling over the image engages a magnifier to give a zoomed in view of portions of the section. Clicking on the picture opens a new page with a high resolution version of the image. The color codes, specific to each data set, are available at the bottom of each listing.
